We completed 2 controlled burns today on the G. William Coulthard Wetland Mitigation Bank in Harrison County, Iowa and the Owego Wetland Mitigation Bank in Woodbury County, Iowa.  Conditions were great and the burns should greatly improve the wetland habitat and control volunteer trees.  While we were out we noticed a lot of planters hitting the fields and it looks like a lot of corn acres will be planted on our managed farms this week.
